The Department of Economics and Islamic Finance conducted a webinar on “Stock Market: An Islamic Perspective” on 15 June 2020. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sayyid Muhammed Shakir, Principal, MUA College. Keynote address and paper presentation was made by Mr. Shameel Sajjad PA, CEO, Finbus, Certified Stock Market Dealer. The program was presided over by Mr. Ibrahim PK, HOD, Economics. Welcome speech was made by Mr. Muhammed Hashmi MA, Asst. Prof, Islamic Finance. Felicitations to the program expressed by Prof. KP Rasheed, IQAC Co-ordinator, Dr. N Muhammadali Ansari, NAAC Coordinator, Dr. PN Abdul Ahad, HOD, Arabic and Dr. T K Yousuf, Staff secretary. The program was led and moderated by Dr. CM Sabir Navas, Assit. Prof. Department of Arabic. 250 delegates from various parts of the world have actively participated in the program.
