This brochure is hailed and acknowledged by all concerned as one of the genuine and remarkable contribution towards the promotion of tourism in the district. We are happy to note here that the we bagged the best tourism club award for this contribution and we received trophy and citation from the then honourable minister for tourism Sri. Anilkumar.
b) Another conspicuous activity of the tourism club this year is the production of a documentary showing the historically important and famous sites around Kondotty, in Malappuram district. The locations include the Moyin Kutty Vaidyar Smarakam, which is a memorial for the legendary mappila poet Moyin Kutty vaidyar, his tomb near Calicut airport, the Kondotty Khuba masjid, which is a remnant of the medieval Persian architecture and the naturally captivating Arimbra hills, which is popularly known as Mini Ooty, with its lush greenery and fresh air and panoramic view points.
c)Constructed an eco-friendly tourism park in the campus.
d)Undertook cleaning and greening of the premises of important govt. buildings in the block panchayath area. We were part of a campaign to clean and to eradicate plastic in the major tourist locations in the district such as Malappuram, Kottakunnu park, Nilambur eco-tourism locations, and the historically famous mamankam spot in thirunavaya  in 2014.
e) The tourism club members of the college identified and brought to the notice of the DTPC some of the prospective tourist spots in the district, which were ignored or unknown before.
f) We conducted orientation and train camps to equip our members with necessary interpersonal and translation skills to host and assist tourist from other countries, especially of the Middle East.
g) Our students undertook the greening and forestation of the open tract on the hills of the Nediyirupp harijan colony. It was a model in developing eco tourism centers.
h) We used to conduct quiz programmes and competitions in essay writing, brochure making, poster making and advertisement designing with an objective to create awareness of important tourist locations in the district and to promote and highlight the tourism potential of the district.
